However, people of 103 countries who wish to visit Korea temporarily are permitted to enter without a visa according to visa-exemption agreements or in accordance with principles of reciprocity or national interest. Your invitation letter request must include the following details;
All foreign visitors who wish to enter the Republic of Korea must obtain K-ETA permission to board aircraft and ships bound for Korea. You must apply at least 72 hours before departure by accessing the K-ETA website or mobile app (K-ETA). Fee : KRW 10,000 (additional card fee, 3% seperately)

Excluded :Multiple Nationalities (with valid Korean passport), USFK active duty soldiers, Flight crew and ferry crew, ABTC holders, transit passengers, UN passport holders, foreigners registered in Korea, Korean visa holders.
Subject to exemption :Those who are eligible for K-ETA application in principle, but have obtained permission by requesting an exemption from our ministry in advance
